Board President
Tina Hightower Garrett
With over 25 years of property management experience in the private and non-profit industry, Tina, a native of San Francisco before retiring, dedicated her career to managing and developing market-rate and affordable housing apartments. She is the co-author of the best-selling book, "A Divine Healing Journey, Devotional and Prayer Journal, co-founder of the non-profit Two Sistas On A Journey, a Podcaster, and owns her own business, It’s A Money Mindset LLC. As a Certified Financial Coach, her goal is to offer hope to those who are experiencing anxiety and stress as a result of financial debt. Tina's personal experience with the loss of her daughter to drug addiction and mental illness has fueled her drive to help others in need.
To gain a better understanding of the needs of the community, Tina actively volunteers at Loaves and Fishes, a food bank that provides essential meals to those in need. Additionally, she volunteers at The SHARE Community, a mobile shower non-profit organization that provides individuals experiencing homelessness with access to basic hygiene facilities, promoting dignity and well-being.
Tina received her Professional Fundraising Certificate from Boston University and is currently pursuing a CFRE certification (Certified Fundraising Executive). She is a graduate of The Rock School of Ministry.
Tina enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and playing golf. Her philanthropic spirit, dedication to financial coaching as well as her commitment to leaving a lasting legacy for her family and community, highlight her multifaceted approach to making a positive impact in the world.

Wandah Mitchell Parenti
Wandah Mitchell Parenti is a California native and a prominent figure with multiple achievements. She is a two-time bestselling author, a podcast creator, and the CEO and Business Owner of Best Life Ever Placement Agency, LLC. Additionally, she co-founded the non-profit organization Two Sistas On A Journey.
Wandah has a deep connection to her family and has been happily married for over 20 years, raising four wonderful children. She is also a proud grandmother known affectionately as "Mimi" to her six grandchildren.
Wandah's thirst for knowledge is evident through her educational accomplishments, including degrees in Fashion Marketing & Merchandising and Business Management. She is a graduate of both Oakland Bible College and the Rock School of Ministry. Wandah's true passion lies in ministering and mentoring women, a purpose she has been actively fulfilling for several years.
.She demonstrates her servant's heart by volunteering at Loaves And Fishes, a community organization providing food for the displaced. Additionally, she serves as a Birthing Doula at the County Hospital in her community.

Daniel Parenti
San Francisco Bay Area native D-Lucca (Daniel Lucca Parenti) is one of the bay's premiere bassists, at ease with every style from Rock, Jazz, R&B, and Gospel. He has performed with music legends such as Rosemary Clooney, Sheila E, Pete Escovedo, Michael Brecker, and Lionel Hampton to name a few, and appeared on two Grammy-nominated albums as well as "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" and "The View." D-Lucca is also an avid music educator and clinician and is also currently on faculty at The California Jazz Conservatory and Oakland School for the Arts. D-Lucca is also the Proudest Papa to his Son, Luca Mitchell, an up-and-coming drummer. Together they have an acclaimed father-and-son production called "Luca & Lucca"
Leslie Arroyo
Leslie's journey in prison ministry began over 25 years ago, and since then, she has remained dedicated to her calling. She understands the challenges faced by individuals transitioning from incarceration and is determined to make a positive impact on their lives.
As an active member of OATC, Open Arms Transitional Care, Leslie teaches courses that prepare individuals for their release from prison. These courses cover a wide range of topics, including life skills, job readiness, and personal development. Through her teachings, she equips parolees with the necessary tools to navigate the complexities of life outside prison walls.
Furthermore, Leslie plays a crucial role in the selection process for OATC's program. She conducts interviews with candidates, carefully assessing their readiness for reintegration and their commitment to personal growth. Her discernment and compassionate approach ensure that the program is tailored to meet the specific needs of each participant.
In addition to her teaching and interviewing responsibilities, Leslie also coordinates and trains mentors. She understands the importance of having a supportive network during the reentry process and strives to match individuals with mentors who can guide and encourage them along their journey.
Breanna Marie Bennett
Breanna's job in the property management industry working for a large REIT is more than just a career - it's a source of pure joy for her. Finding that perfect place for someone brings her immense happiness and fulfillment. Breanna's journey to where she is today hasn't been an easy one. Adopted by her grandmother at a young age, she's always had an attitude of gratitude and a deep appreciation for the love and support she received. Her bond with her grandmother is unbreakable, and they share a unique friendship that goes beyond the typical grandmother-granddaughter relationship.
From growing up in a suburban city in Northern California to embracing the bustling city life in downtown Seattle, Breanna has experienced the beauty of diversity firsthand. Living in a neighborhood that celebrates different cultures and backgrounds serves as a constant reminder that she is truly blessed and that her life could have taken a different path.
What sets Breanna apart is her unwavering compassion for those in need. Having faced her own share of tragedies at a young age, she understands the importance of offering assistance and support to others going through difficult times.
Journee "Iffy" Marshall
Ifoma, affectionately known as Iffy is the CEO of her company, Lashgenie LV, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Iffy takes great pride in enhancing the beauty of others through her business by installing lashes that are not only amazing but also tailored to each individual's unique style and preferences. With her expertise and attention to detail, she creates stunning lash designs that leave her clients feeling confident and beautiful.
She is a wife and an amazing mother. When she's not busy running her company, Iffy loves to indulge in her passion for food as a true food enthusiast. She enjoys exploring different restaurants and trying out new and exciting dishes. Whether it's a cozy café or a fine dining establishment, Iffy appreciates the artistry and creativity that goes into each culinary experience.
In her leisure time, Iffy enjoys watching scary movies, as they give her an adrenaline rush and a thrilling escape from reality. The suspense and excitement keep her engaged, making it a favorite pastime for her.
Iffy's journey as a wife, mother, CEO, food enthusiast, movie lover, and community supporter is a testament to her multifaceted nature and her commitment to living a fulfilling and purposeful life.
Michele Horne, MD
Dr. Horne is a graduate of California State University (CSU) Fresno, and with her BA in Biology and minor in Chemistry which led her into the field of Forensics. She then worked for the CA Department of Justice as a forensic scientist and DNA analyst. Later she pursued her medical education at University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Horne did her Internal Medicine residency training at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. After her residency, she stayed with Yale and completed her sub-specialty fellowship training in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, receiving her Master’s Degree in Public Health.
Dr. Horne founded Central Coast Total Wellness in 2013 to fulfill a childhood dream. Prior to opening her private practice, she worked as an Occupational Medicine Physician/Manager for Exxon Mobile in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Director of Medical Services for Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York before relocating to the Monterey Peninsula.
Dr. Horne is a member of the American College of Physicians and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine.
Carol Neal - Robinson
Carol Neal Robinson’s passion for advocating for Veterans stems from her deep admiration and respect for their service and sacrifice. She firmly believes that those who have bravely served their country deserve the utmost support and assistance when transitioning back into civilian life.
With her extensive experience in HR, Carol possesses a wealth of knowledge in finding suitable placements for Veterans and helping them navigate the intricacies of their benefits. She understands the unique challenges that Veterans face and works tirelessly to ensure they receive the resources and support they need to thrive.
Carol's dedication to this cause is not only professional but personal as well. Having cared for her own brother, who is a Veteran, she has firsthand experience of the challenges they encounter and the impact it has on their lives and the lives of their families. This personal connection fuels her commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of Veterans. In addition to her work with Veterans, Carol has also made significant contributions to the healthcare industry. She has served as an Ombudsman with the State of Texas, advocating for the rights and well-being of individuals receiving healthcare services.
