What We Do

Two Sistas On A Journey is a non-profit organization that aims to make a difference in the lives of the unhoused and those living with mental health challenges. We provide essential care packages that include items for daily living such as deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, combs, brushes, mouthwash, washcloths, socks, and undergarments.  

 

We believe in the power of community and the importance of making a positive impact on those in need. That's why we actively volunteer in our local community, aiming to feel its heartbeat and understand the challenges faced by its residents.

Through our volunteer efforts, we immerse ourselves in the lives of individuals and families, listening to their stories, and empathizing with their struggles. We believe that by truly understanding the needs of our community, we can better serve and support them. By volunteering in the community, we foster long-lasting relationships and a sense of unity. We strive to create a community where everyone feels valued, heard, and supported.

As authors ourselves, we understand the importance of literacy in shaping individuals and communities. We believe that everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, should have access to the transformative power of reading and writing.
